Pop-up POP ART  Exhibition at InterSpace Gallery featuring two DC area artists, Genie Ghim & Cory Oberndorfer.  This two person exhibit is a pop-up event and inaugural show in this new space, highlighting the visual art movement that evolved from interpretations of consumerism in the US and UK during the post World War boom.  The presentation of bold images, colors, text, and repetition from popular culture coined the term “POP” from art critics in the 1960s to describe the brand new wave of art.
